Dr. Alisa Illo Nolton, ND

Dr. Alisa Illo Nolton (professionally known as Dr. Illo) is a Naturopathic Physician licensed in Oregon. She practices patient-centered care with a focus in women’s health, perimenopause/menopause, and metabolic conditions. She prioritizes the foundations of health, including nutrition, physical activity, and mental health. She practices from a mindset of disease prevention and improving longevity. This means not only increasing lifespan but also improving quality of life. Dr. Illo enjoys working collaboratively with patients to create individualized health plans. She offers a variety of modalities, including herbs, nutrient supplementation, IV therapy, dietary modifications, and pharmaceutical intervention when needed.

Dr. Illo graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2021 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Nutrition. After graduation, she continued her training in a two-year residency program in primary care medicine. Her undergraduate education was completed at Chapman University with a BA in dance. Dr. Illo was a dancer for 18 years and then became a certified yoga teacher. She firmly believes in movement as medicine and enjoys working with patients to help cultivate a joyful practice of movement.

Dr. Illo was born and raised in Oregon in a family dedicated to patient care—her father is a chiropractor. She shares a close bond with her twin sister, whom she loves dearly. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, Joe. Together, they share three beloved pets: Huckleberry, their Bernese Mountain Dog, and two cats, Oliver and Bentley. In June 2025, Dr. Illo and Joe welcomed their first baby, Clover, and they are completely in love with their little one!
