Dr. Jason Wells, ND, LAC
As a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist, my passion is getting to the root cause of your health challenges and helping you live a sustainably healthy life. Modern conveniences can pose barriers for the health of our ancient bodies. I help my patients implement practical steps to overcome these obstacles, allowing their bodies to work better naturally.
Rather than just covering up your symptoms with medications or natural products, I spend more time with my patients and help them identify the root cause of their complaints. When you find the cause and address it, your body is fully capable of reaching its full potential, regardless of your age or health status.
I helped found Reconstructed Wellness because I believe in its mission of improving metabolic health to support my patients' longevity. My years in practice have confirmed that a main contributor to our suffering, both physical and mental, and to the development of chronic illness and poor aging is defective cellular metabolism. When our cells aren’t using nutrients correctly, we don’t have the energy to function, and our bodily tissues don’t repair efficiently. Bottom line: we age faster and have more disease.
I empower my patients on what they can implement to counter these metabolic issues to reverse disease processes and age better. For more on how supporting metabolism and mitochondria (the energy/ATP producing compartments of our cells) helps with overall health and longevity, click here.
I enjoy supporting all people in their health journey, with a focus on managing the following conditions:
Everything from diabetes, to cancer, to heart disease, to neurodegeneration is often correlated with poor cellular metabolism. Stubborn symptoms of chronic fatigue, chronic pain, and obesity are also largely metabolic in nature and can be reversed.
Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
I offer support for over 100 autoimmune conditions, including Grave’s disease, Psoriasis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus (SLE), Celiac disease, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Multiple Sclerosis. Inflammatory syndromes such as histamine intolerance and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) also improve with
I treat neuro-degenerative and neuro-inflammatory conditions of the brain, including headaches, migraines, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, poor memory and focus, brain fog, and more.
I can support your digestive concerns, including Chron’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and more.
I can help you address issues related to men’s sexual health, prostate health, and hormonal imbalances.
I look forward to working with you to reach your full health potential!
